The Texas legislature has taken a major step towards cybersecurity with the passing of Senate Bill 75. The bill requires all state agencies to verify that their SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions comply with specific requirements by January 1, 2022. These security standards, known as TX-RAMP (Risk and Authorization Management Program), give state agencies peace of mind when it comes to protecting their own and their constituents’ data.
We are pleased to announce that JustFOIA is certified as a TX-RAMP Level 2 cloud solution.
This certification means that JustFOIA meets the security standards required for cloud-based platforms used at Texas local and state agencies, law enforcement, K-12 districts, higher education institutions, special districts, and other public sector agencies.
TX-RAMP’s 224-point inspection process ensures advanced security features that protect government and citizen data against cyberattacks. It also attests to a culture of security in which all our employees intentionally prioritize data safety.
Our platform is hosted on Microsoft’s dedicated Azure Government Cloud – the same service used by the Department of Defense. Clients can rest easy knowing their data is secure.
We look forward to continuing serving Texas agencies by providing the level of transparency that today’s citizens demand.
